The concept of "home" that every homeowner desires is defined by the entire interior design, colors and finishes, materials, and details. Glass balustrades are favored by those who design their homes in a modern style, and architects are increasingly specifying them in their projects.
In spacious homes, glass balustrades are the elements that combine utility with beauty, leaving the sensation of space undisturbed. Easy to maintain and spectacular at the same time, glass is one of the most requested materials for interior finishes.
Even in smaller homes, glass balustrades are the most suitable choice, as they create a sense of space and freedom of movement. Optimizing spaces in a narrow passageway is necessary, and it can be easily achieved by installing glass balustrades.
For staircase areas, Glas Expert always finds the most suitable solutions, whether with glass balustrades with point fixings, installed on the side of the stairs, or with narrow pieces applied to the smallest possible area of the steps. Profiles applied to the side of the steps represent another solution, also allowing the entire area of the step to remain usable for traffic.
Cut glass balustrades to follow the outline of the steps are made using CNC-controlled machines, and other necessary processing for fitting into niches or walls is also possible thanks to the advanced machinery that Glas Expert uses. The corners of the balustrades are specially processed, with angles rounded according to carefully calculated radii, and the joints between the tempered and laminated glass panels are designed with even gaps.
Safety in operation is paramount, which is why Glas Expert produces and installs variants of tempered and laminated glass balustrades with extra-clear, ultra-clear, or chemically satin-finished glass, with clear, frosted, or colored film, ceramic enamel in RAL colors, and ceramic prints in various colors.
The covering or concealment of the stair stringer is possible by ceramic enamel in RAL shades on the corresponding concrete area where the stainless steel pieces of the glass balustrade are installed. This way, any unfinished or defective areas can be covered at once with the installation of the glass balustrade with the lower ceramic-enamelled RAL area, in colors that match the other decorative elements in the home.
By installing glass balustrades, Glas Expert provides practical and useful elements for every home, customized and designed to fit the dimensions of each area. A wooden or metal handrail can also be added after the installation of the balustrades, although from a safety perspective, it is not an absolutely necessary element. We also integrate LED lighting strips into the handrail or installed at the base of the balustrades, with warm or cold light.
