Glass Expert founded in 2002

Glass Expert srl was founded in 2002 with 100% domestic capital and its main activity is the processing and finishing of flat glass.
The production capacities that allow us to carry out any type of flat glass processing are arranged in a production space of 3000 square meters, of which approx. 1200 square meters are effectively the production halls where the equipment and the staff are organized to provide you quickly the products and services you want at a special quality standard.

High technology within Glass Expert

Glass Expert, since its establishment, has emphasized technology, so that year after year we have invested in high-tech equipment that currently allows us to perform works of a high quality standard.

Among the existing machines, we would like to list some of them:

• secured glass production line – Tamglass Pro-E with securing and semi-securing possibilities of the glass having dimensions 4500mm x 2500MM. The production capacities for secured glass are approximately 1000 square meters of glass per 24 hours. We can secure Low-E hard glass, Low-E soft glass, ornamental glass, mass colored glass, clear glass and basically any type of glass that can be secured.
• equipment for testing the secured glass by the “Heat-Soak” method – Simtech Due to the present criticality in the glass component of the nickel sulphide in ordinary glass, certain projects provide for the testing of the secured glass with an additional technical treatment called “Heat-Soak Test”. Glass Expert has the ability to do this.
• laminated glass production line – Simtech with the possibility of laminating glass with dimensions of 4500 x 1800 mm. We can laminate glass packages with thicknesses of up to 100mm. We can laminate glass with 1,2 or more foils. We can laminate clear glass, colored ornament, Low-E.
• glass processing machine in CNC coordinates – Itermac 45Plus can process glass with dimensions of 4200 x 2300 mm. It is used for special orders where we need precision in execution. It can perform all the finishing operations that can be applied to a glass, edge finishing, engraving, disc cutting, milling cutting, drilling, etc.
• glass bending furnace – Nabertherm with internal dimensions of 2500(L) x1500(W) x 800(h) mm. fully automated for glass processing in various hot technologies: fusing, slumping, bending, sagging.
• glass punching machine in coordinates – CMB can execute the drilling of one or more glass pegs without manual operations. only based on the program entered from the control panel computer. The drilling table of this machine is controlled by a microprocessor that commands all the functions of the drilling operations. The precision and accuracy of the holes made in the glass are maximum, and the diameters of the holes are between 3 and 65 mm.
• edge processing equipment for flat glass – Z. Bavelloni, can finish glass edges with thicknesses between 3-30 mm and edge angles between 0-45. Finishing is done with 14 cutters. the last 4 performing edge polishing with cerium oxide. All 14 milling cutters and polishing brushes are mechanically positioned by an electronic system with numerical control, their adjustment data being entered from the keyboard of the control panel. The technical characteristics of this machine give us the opportunity to finish approx. 250 mi / hour of edge, the minimum dimensions of the windows that can be processed on this machine are 80 x 200 mm, the maximum being those of the glass manufacturing dimensions.
