Following the successful completion of the Baneasa Mall project, Glas Expert has been requested to carry out the stand from AFI Cotroceni as well. This time, the conditions imposed by the Mall were ampler and more restrictive in terms of implementing the whole ensemble.
Hence, the portal needed to contain the colors of the TUI Travel logo up to 1600 mm height, so that it wouldn’t obstruct the entire floor’s overview. The same type of volumetric letters were applied on the portal and on the back side of the stand also, the latter being illuminated, in addition.
Since the supporting metallic structure of the entire ensemble hasn’t been approved, we were forced to find clear, non-opaque reinforcing solutions. Therefore, we designed and manufactured a laminated, and tempered clear glass EVOLAM T supporting structure. The frontal and back side of the stand were reinforced by supports with the aid of connectors and stainless steel fixing points.
This time, Glas Expert carried out the entire stand – the metallic structure , the floor covered with parquet, profiles, tempered glass EVODUR ESG and glass pillars EVOLAM T.
The result is a rigid, safe and harmonious ensemble, tailored to the colours of TUI Travel, a structure that fits perfectly into the AFI Cotroceni Mall.
